Do you know the song “Happy Days Are Here Again”? If not, you can be forgiven; it was written in 1929. But no political tune has ever topped its upbeat quality

Nobody ever penned a lyric reading “Wise Times Are Here Again” (let alone setting it to music). Belief always trumps doubt, because happiness is its own reward, doubt a dark closet, for some too infrequently entered.
