Kim Campbell, the first female prime minister of Canada, was right when she said a 47-day-long election campaign (Imagine a campaign of only 47 days!) was not enough time to reconsider the nation’s social programs. But she was wrong to say so.

Conspiracies cannot be hatched without the complicity of others, and for that reason are extremely dangerous.

Anybody that wants the presidency so much that he’ll spend two years organizing and campaigning for it is not to be trusted with the office.
